M+IT 2013 Hall of Fame Nomination Callout

It’s time to put forth the names of your outstanding meetings industry peers, by nominating them for M+IT’s 2013 Hall of Fame Awards.

Here’s your opportunity to turn the spotlight on your colleagues and give them the national, industry-wide recognition they deserve!

Nominations open January 2, 2013, and close April 26, 2013, so put on your thinking cap and send us your list of worthy candidates!

Inductees will be announced live at IncentiveWorks, on August 20, 2013, and will be profiled in M+IT’s September.October issue.

Hall of Fame Categories:

Industry Builder
The Industry Builder Award recognizes an individual planner or supplier who has developed best practices, created professional guidelines and/or who has built a product or service that has improved the way the industry does business.

Industry Innovator
The Industry Innovator Award recognizes an individual planner or supplier who has implemented a service or product that has increased productivity and/or modernized our industry.

Industry Mentor
The Industry Mentor Award recognizes an individual planner or supplier who, through their expertise, professional influence or academic position has provided others with the opportunity, inspiration or ability to pursue excellence.

Industry Rising Star
The Rising Star Award recognizes a planner or supplier, with two to five years experience in the industry, who has demonstrated leadership and the desire to become an ambassador for our industry.

Industry Volunteer
The Industry Volunteer Award recognizes an individual planner or supplier who gives freely of their time and expertise in the promotion of industry associations, groups, professional industry chapters or charity work.

Industry Planner
The Industry Planner Award recognizes Canada’s top meeting or incentive travel planner; someone who represents everything professional planners should be. The list of criteria includes at least five years of industry experience, client satisfaction, business acumen and mentorship.

Industry Veteran
This is a special category that is not open to nominations, but is bestowed by M+IT on a deserving individual, recognizing a lifetime of distinguished service to the meetings industry.
