The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) has named Chris Crowley, senior vice-president, sales, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, BCD Travel, president-elect, effective Jan. 1, 2010.
Crowley will become president at the end of Richard Crum’s term in May, 2010.
An 18-year veteran of the travel-management profession, Crowley served as a sales director with hotel companies, including ACCOR Concorde, before joining BCD Travel in 2005.
From 2005 to 2007, he served as an ACTE at-large board member and helped champion the association’s global expansion and local market development in Europe and Africa.
