A session dedicated to helping planners understand the North American meeting buyer will kick off the Association education stream at the Americas Incentive, Business Travel & Meetings Exhibition (AIBTM), taking place June 11-13, 2013 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.
The session, which will be delivered by the International Convention and Congress Association (ICCA), will feature a large panel of U.S. meeting planners and ICCA members who will share their experiences of working in the North American market. It will also include a roundtable discussion, which will cover topics ranging from buyer psychology and preferred ways of working to best PR and marketing channels.
The second-part of the Association education stream is titled “Going Global – Answers to North American Planners’ Toughest Questions.” It have an interactive format with roundtable discussions between North American planners and international suppliers from other regions.
