Air Jamaica has increased its summer schedule by adding two daily non-stop flights between Toronto and Kingston, Jamaica, starting July 1.
The additional daily flight between Kingston and Toronto will depart Kingston at 1:25 a.m. The flight originating in Toronto will leave at 7:50 a.m.
In addition, Air Jamaica now offers two free checked bags in economy class and a 15-per-cent discount on personal cargo shipments for ticketed passengers. Jamaica is a top destination for incentive travel groups organized by meeting and event planners.
In early May, Air Jamaica closed its Toronto ticket office. Ticketing services are now available on the company’s website; via a reservations phone line; and at Toronto’s Pearson Airport.
On May 1, Air Jamaica joined forces with Caribbean Airlines and over the course of an expected 12-month transition period to a single airline (Caribbean Airlines), operations will continue as normal.
