ALHI Accepts Central Florida Resort

Streamsong, Central Florida’s newest destination resort, has been accepted into the portfolio of the Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) Global Sales Organization.

The 16,000-acre property, which opened in December 2012,  is accessible from both the Tampa and Orlando international airports. It offers 228 guest rooms and suites, 25,000 square feet of indoor meeting space,  50,000 square feet of outdoor locations, and two championship golf courses.

Additional amenities at the AAA Four-Diamond resort include the full-service AcquaPeitra Spa; guided bass fishing on the resort’s lakes; sporting clays at multiple stations; a fitness center; nature trains; lawn sports; a lakeside infinity-edge pool; and five distinct dining experiences.

“Streamsong is an outstanding addition to ALHI’s worldwide portfolio, and another ‘bucket list’ part of the ALHI Golf Collection luxury brand segment, which now features 61 incredible golf-related options,” said Jim Schultenover, president of ALHI. “It is a remarkable resort that really should be considered by any planner interested in conducting their meeting or incentive program at a first-class resort that offers exceptional golf, privacy, style, and so many other recreational options, in a very beautiful setting. Planners simply need to contact their ALHI Global Sales professional to find out more about this wonderful new option.”

The resort’s interior meeting space is comprised of 13 conference rooms that can accommodate groups of 10 to 500. Options include the 7,600-square-foot Commons Hall, and the intimate, technology-rich Bordeaux Boardroom.

Its two golf courses—Streamsong Red and Streamsong Blue—have earned a number of awards and accolades:

  • #1 spot on USA Today’s list of the “2015 Top 10 Best Top-Notch Warm Weather Golf Courses”
  • 2014 Gold Tee Award from M&C: Meetings & Conventions magazine
  • 2014 Clubhouse of the year from Golf Inc.
  • Golf Digest’s 2015 pick as having the #1 and #3 Best Public Courses in Florida
  • Earning two spots on Golf Magazine’s  list of the “Top 20 Courses You can Play in the U.S.”

Streamsong is located 27 miles south of Lakeland, just 60 minutes from Tampa International Airport, and 90 minutes from Orlando International Airport. Private jets arrive via Lakeland Linder Regional Airport only 30 minutes away. With prior authorization, private helicopters are permitted to land directly at Streamsong.
