The Motif Seattle has been accepted into Associated Luxury Hotels International’s (ALHI) worldwide portfolio of 160+ four- and five-diamond hotels and resorts. It also becomes part of the ALHI City Solutions Collection specialty segment.
The ALHI global sales organization will represent the hotel to meeting professionals, association executives, incentive/recognition specialists and business executives. Motif Seattle is managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts.

It has great character and vibe that really reflects the rich cultural scene of Seattle.”
The hotel, which is the city’s largest independently-branded hotel, opened in June (2014) upon completion of a $25 million, three-year, multi-phase renovation. It features:
- 319 guest rooms and 10 suites
- 20,000 square feet of meeting space, including an Executive Conference level and the 8,915-square-foot Emerald Ballroom
- VIP Executive Boardroom
- 4,000-square-foot terrace (the largest outdoor patio in downtown Seattle)
- Frolik Kitchen + Cocktails, a urban contemporary restaurant on the hotel’s fifth floor
Its new look and decor is inspired by the city’s fashion, music and art scenes. As part of this the hotel will be working with local designers on an ongoing basis to create distinctive experiences throughout the property, such as custom patterns on textiles, unique amenities and native artwork.
