Ambassadors Guiding Visitors in Toronto's Entertainment District

The Toronto Entertainment District Business Improvement Area (TOED BIA) has introduced a roaming ambassadors program to assist and engage and assist visitors. Launched in June, the program will run between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday summer evenings until September 6, 2014.

According to Erin Kretz, marketing manager of the Toronto Entertainment District Business Improvement Area, the program was launched in response to the ever-growing number of events being held in the area and the need to deliver the best possible visitor experience in Toronto.

The Toronto Entertainment District is home to the Air Canada Centre, Four Seasons  Centre for the Performing Arts, the CN Tower, Steam Whistle Brewing, Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Rogers Centre, Roy Thomson Hall, Princess of Wales Theatre, Royal Alexandra Theatre and TIFF Bell Lightbox. It is also one of the city’s most popular and accessible destinations for dining and entertainment, attracting leisure visitors, event attendees and convention/conference delegates.
