The new vessel boasts floor-to-ceiling windows.
In 2011, Avalon Waterways will unveil a new European river cruise vessel with panoramic views.
The Panorama features 64 newly designed Panorama Suites, positioned on the top two decks, with 200 sq. ft. of living space and a floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall panoramic window. When open, the 10-foot wide, 7-foot tall window transforms the suite into the category’s first open-air balcony.
The Panorama will provide passengers with rooms that are 30 per cent larger and with views 50 per cent more expansive than the industry average in Europe.
The new ship includes such improvements as deluxe bedding, fresh flowers in each stateroom and marble bathrooms. The vessel also includes 17 deluxe staterooms on the lower deck.
Avalon’s new Panorama Suite Ship will be christened in May 2011 and will sail the popular 14-night Amsterdam/Budapest itinerary for most of 2011.
