Canadian Cruise Line Offers Cuban Excursions, Beginning Dec. 4

A Toronto-based cruiseline will offer week-long cruises around the island of Cuba, beginning Dec. 4.

A Toronto-based cruise line will offer week-long cruises around the island of Cuba, beginning Dec. 4.

Cuba Cruise will depart from Havana and visit such places as Cayo Guillermo; Bahia Nipe; Cienfuegos/Trinidad; Santiago de Cuba; Cayo Los Caguamas, a private island; and Punta Frances.

Cruises take place aboard a 1,200-passenger ship, called Louis Cristal, that was built in 1980 and features 480 staterooms.

All cruises will feature Cuban music and dance, local Cuban guides and interpreters.

On the food side, there’s buffet-style restaurant Traviata and formal dining in La Scala and Caruso restaurants, along with the Romeo & Juliet Bar, and Riviera pool bar.

Other amenities include a Monte Carlo casino, Internet Corner, two conference rooms, photo gallery, Duty Free & Travel Value shops, swimming pool, whirlpool bath, fitness centre, beauty salon, spa and massage.
