The hotel's meetings-ready theatre.
Coast Kamloops Hotel & Conference Centre has opened in south-central B.C.
Formerly known as the Kamloops Towne Lodge, the rebranded, 203-room hotel features a fitness centre with sauna; 30,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, including a tiered theatre in the convention centre; 130-seat ORA restaurant; 105-seat lounge and cold wine, beer and spirits store.
In addition, the Coast Hotels property is undergoing a three-phase, $7-million renovation that will upgrade the hotel’s exterior, guestrooms, public corridors, lobby, courtyard/atrium, pool and convention centre.
The renovation will also add new furnishings and fixtures throughout.
Began in October, the first phase of the refurbishment involved exterior landscaping and painting.
In the south tower, the 105 rooms have been upgraded, focusing on physical comfort and modern amenities.
