Cathedral Mountain Lodge, a luxury property on the Kicking Horse River, in Yoho National Park, B.C., has re-opened for the 2008 summer season. Located approximately two-hours from Calgary, Cathedral Mountain offers 29 luxury log cabins equipped with fireplaces, down duvets, deep soaker tubs, private balconies and custom-made furniture. Moreover, the design of the newly completed timber-frame lodge incorporates an indoor/outdoor river-rock fireplace, vaulted ceilings and picture windows that provide sweeping views from every vantage point.
To kick off its 2008 season, and running until May 31, the resort is offering preferred early-season value of up to 50 per cent below regular prices. On June 1, standard lodge pricing will resume and will continue until the resort closes for the winter on Oct. 5.
