Registration specialist Exposoft Solutions Inc. has acquired Washington, D.C.-based Convention Information Systems Inc. (CisTems) and has opened a Washington, D.C.-area office in Alexandria, Va.

“We’ve been waiting to carefully pick the right opportunity to have a presence in the Washington area and we feel strongly that Richard Melland and CisTems will provide excellent representation for the Exposoft brand,” says Exposoft president and CEO Bassel Annab. “We see the D.C. area as a complex corporate and association corridor that could benefit from Expososft Solutions’ myriad services.”

Melland will serve as director of business development for Exposoft in Washington. Moreover, the company can now incorporate new products into its repertoire, such as the Personal Event Scheduler that CisTem used for the American Library Association.
