Want proof that the viral impact of social networking is starting to infiltrate the hospitality industry? Crystal Cruises plans to launch a website, dubbed Crystal Cove, which will give guests the opportunity to interact with one another, and on-shore friends and family, to share photos, videos, tips and travel experiences and create a forum for recommendations and reviews in real time.

In addition, previous, current and future guests will be able to share and gather real-time feedback from fellow Crystal travellers.

Designed to allow passengers to share vacation experiences and provide up-to-date feedback on those experiences, the site will utilize software from Sparta Social Networks, a company that creates business-based, social-network platforms mirroring those of MySpace and Facebook.
