Marriott has opened Fairfield Inn & Suites Montreal Airport, the chain’s first Fairfield Inn in Quebec.
Close to Montreal-Trudeau International Airport, the property provides, in all 162 guestrooms, Wi-FiTM technology and LCD HD televisions. Amenities include complimentary daily continental breakfast, 24-hour fitness facilities with indoor pool and free airport shuttle service.
The hotel houses five meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 140 banquet-style, complete with integrated audio-visual capabilities.
Environmentally-friendly systems were incorporated into the design, including Thermo-Wheel air recycling, and a hot-water system with high-efficiency, low-consumption burners and programmable lighting to provide dimmed interior lights during off-peak hours.
Marriott is also developing the Montreal Airport Marriott, scheduled to open in 2009, which will connect to the airport via a walkway.
