IHG Expands Holiday Inn Express in Alberta

InterContinental Hotels Group is expanding its Holiday Inn Express presence in Alberta, with one hotel already opened, in Hinton, and another slated to open July 28, in Edson.

InterContinental Hotels Group is expanding its Holiday Inn Express presence in Alberta, with one hotel already opened, in Hinton, and another slated to open July 28, in Edson. Both properties are located on Highway 16, near Jasper National Park.

The 42,000 sq.-ft. Hinton property offers an indoor pool and meeting facilities, including a boardroom with two additional meeting rooms. The 32,000 sq.-ft. Edson property will feature an indoor pool, fitness and business centre. Guestrooms offer queen or king-sized beds, a sitting area with a lounge chair and in-room coffee machine, large desks with ergonomic chairs and free, high-speed Internet.

The newly enhanced, complimentary Express Start breakfast bar will serve such morning treats as cheddar omelets, bacon, biscuits, yogurt, fruit and a proprietary cinnamon roll.
