Dolce Makes Two Appointments
Hospitality company Dolce Hotels and Resorts has promoted Paul van Wijk to senior vice-president of operations, North America, and named Xavier Louyot marketing and public-relations director for its European operations.
In his new post, van Wijk will be responsible for the operations and financial performance of Dolce’s North American properties. His duties will include maintaining strong relationships with property owners and investment partners, overseeing and mentoring the company’s regional vice-presidents, providing direction for the development and implementation of Dolce’s corporate and brand standards for North America and ensuring that the company achieves the goals established in its annual plans.
Louyot will work closely with Dolce’s corporate office to implement the company’s global marketing strategy in Europe and will coordinate the efforts of the company’s European public relations and marketing entities at the six Dolce properties in Europe, including Dolce Sitges in Sitges, Spain; Dolce Bad-Nauheim, in Frankfurt, Germany; and Dolce Frégate, in Provence, France.
