Ritz-Carlton has taken over management of the St. Regis Fort Lauderdale and rebranded as Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale.
All 192 guestrooms and suites provide views of the Atlantic Ocean or Intracoastal Waterway. Guestrooms offer WiFi access and DVD theatre entertainment systems with a 32-inch LCD panel TV; bathrooms feature a 13-inch LCD panel TV.
In addition, there’s more than 24,000 sq. ft. of meeting space and the 8,500-sq.-ft. Grand Ballroom, Fort Lauderdale’s largest and only oceanfront ballroom. Accommodating 450, the Grand Ballroom pre-function space features floor-to-ceiling windows and unobstructed ocean views, while the Astor Ballroom and Astor Terrace accommodate 180 and 280, respectively.
Amenities include a full-service, 8,500-sq.-ft. spa, an 8,000-sq.-ft. fitness center and a seventh-floor, 29,000-sq.-ft. terrace outfitted with an infinity pool, relaxation deck and 60-seat bar and grill.
