Sawridge Enters Edmonton Market

After purchasing the Holiday Inn The Palace on Gateway Boulevard, in Edmonton, the Sawridge Group of Companies has re-branded it the Sawridge Inn Edmonton South and plans a $3-million renovation of atrium and lobby space, restaurant, lounge and all guestroom bathrooms, expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2009.

After purchasing the Holiday Inn The Palace on Gateway Boulevard, in Edmonton, the Sawridge Group of Companies has re-branded it the Sawridge Inn Edmonton South and plans a $3-million renovation of atrium and lobby space, restaurant, lounge and all guestroom bathrooms, expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2009.

Sawridge’s fifth property in the growing Alberta market, the Sawridge Inn Edmonton South features 137 guestrooms and suites along with a full-service restaurant, lobby lounge, fitness facility, whirlpools, complimentary high-speed Internet access and 9,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space accommodating 200.

In Alberta, the company owns and manages Sawridge Inns and Conference Centres in Jasper, Fort McMurray, Slave Lake and Peace River.
