The 428-room Ramada Conference Centre Edmonton has completed the first stage of an $8-million renovation.
Refurbished guestrooms include new artwork, lighting, large desks with ergonomic chairs, upgraded bedding and granite countertops, new furniture and, in some rooms, 37-inch flatscreen TVs, with more to follow.
Additionally, the lobby has received new carpeting and a revamped front desk, with new guest-reception furniture. The 10,000-sq.-ft. main ballroom received a fresh coat of paint, a new dance floor and new carpeting, while Julies Bistro has been rebranded as botaniCa Restaurant, featuring a revamped decor and menu.
The next stage of the renovations will include exterior work, including paint and new carport, and additional interior work, including new elevators, hallway carpets and guest room furniture. It’s expected to be finished next spring.
