Jeff Dixon Named Director of Sales and Marketing for Niagara Convention Centre

Jeff Dixon is the new director of sales and marketing for the Niagara Convention and Civic Centre, in Niagara Falls, Ont.

After graduating from university, Dixon spent over 10 years in Toronto working in a variety of roles for a number of hospitality organizations, including sales manager for luxury hotels such as the Park Hyatt Toronto.

He joins the Niagara Convention and Civic Centre from the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort, where, for the past three years, he was the manager of convention sales and conference services.

Maritz Names Pat O’Donnell Client Services Account Manager – Automotive

Maritz Canada has named Pat O’Donnell to the position of client services account manager – automotive sector.

O’Donnell will focus on driving innovative solutions in customer loyalty and incentives, customer satisfaction, vehicle launches/promotions and training as well as sales and channel effectiveness.

He brings with him 26 years of automotive expertise, including 17 years in senior managerial roles with Nissan Canada in after-sales field operations, consumer support, national vehicle sales and regional and national sales operations.

Changes at Maui Jim Sunglasses

Sheri Boyd has changed divisions within Maui Jim Sunglasses, moving to account executive for the retail and optical division, covering Eastern Ontario. During the past three years, Boyd had developed the corporate gifts Canada division, and will continue to be based in Ottawa.

Corporate gifts Canada will now be handled by Sarah Nicalo, who began her career with Maui Jim in 2005 as sales manager for the American corporate gifts central region, in Chicago. She will now be responsible for all of Maui Jim’s Canadian corporate gifts business and, at the end of the year, will move to Toronto from Vancouver.
