The Chef Upstairs has launched a second-floor private dining room/cooking studio, in midtown Toronto, designed as a full-fledged event venue for small groups.

The Chef Upstairs has launched a second-floor private dining room/cooking studio, in midtown Toronto, designed as a full-fledged event venue for small groups. Outfitted in exposed brick, hardwood floors, up-to-date fixtures and a modern colour palette, the space can host formal, sit-down dinners for up to 22; casual dinners for up to 20; formal wine tastings led by a certified sommelier; and board meetings for up to 14.

Private events can also take the form of a cooking demonstration, where up to 12 guests can sample a three-course meal prepared by one of the company’s house chefs, local celebrity chef or restaurant chef; cocktail reception for up to 30; or combination cooking demo/wine tasting for groups of up to 24.
