New Orleans boutique hotel International House invites groups to step out into the city and work as a team, through a day of ‘voluntourism,’ in exchange for complimentary meeting facilities and discounted room rates.
Groups of six or more who spend one day volunteering for one of the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Voluntourism organizations qualify for the discounted rate of $119 per night, as well as complimentary use of meeting facilities and morning coffee (groups over 20 will be charged for set-up).
Organizations involved in Voluntourism include Make it Right, Habitat for Humanity and Operation Kids/Brees Dream Foundation.
Located in New Orleans’ central business district, two blocks from the French Quarter, International House recently celebrated its tenth anniversary with a complete renovation.
