The 190-room resort will offer an experience reflecting Marrakech via a mix of contemporary and traditional architecture and unique amenities. Additionally, the property will feature five food and beverage outlets and 13,000 sq. ft. of banquet and meeting space, including a 4,300-sq.-ft. ballroom.
A 14,000-sq.-ft. Willow Stream Spa and health club will house 14 treatment rooms, a Turkish bath, specialty showers, steam room, ice fountain and lounges. The complex will also include 32 new Fairmont-branded residential villas.
Marrakech’s attractions include the town square of Jemaa l-Fna; Menara gardens; and Koutoubia Mosque. A new golf course will be developed adjacent to the hotel, while the Marrakech Royal Golf Club is a short drive away.
