Maui Jim Promotes Sarah Nicalo to Canadian Sales Manager, Corporate Gifts

Maui Jim Sunglasses has promoted Sarah Nicalo to Canadian sales manager, corporate gifts.

Nicalo has been with Maui Jim for almost four years. In 2005, she began her career with the company as the central region sales manager for the American corporate gifts division, in Chicago. The following year, Nicalo relocated to her native Vancouver, to open the Western Canadian corporate gifts division.

In her new position, she will be responsible for all corporate gifts business for Maui Jim Sunglasses in Canada. She is currently based in Vancouver, but expects to relocate to Toronto.

Model Staffing/ModelServers Open Vancouver Office

Promotional-model and event-staffing companies Model Staffing Canada and ModelServers have opened a full-time Vancouver office, which will be run by Jennifer Koning, a veteran of promotional modeling and event staffing in the Vancouver area. The West Coast office will allow the companies to provide staffing in both Vancouver and Whistler, says president Rob Weingust.

In addition, the Montreal office, which had been part-time, will come on board as full-time, says Weingust.

SITE Hosts Educational Conference

On Oct. 15, SITE hosted Canada’s only educational conference focusing on the incentive market. Held at the Park Hyatt Hotel, in Toronto, the event featured tourist board educational presentations; a panel discussion on international air travel; breakout sessions, and a panel discussion exploring the corporate perspective of the future of incentive travel.
