A live inventory of Starwood Hotels’ small meeting rooms is now available for real-time booking on Worktopia’s website. The Worktopia partnership launches with 63 properties in Starwood’s Southeastern U.S. region, with plans to introduce additional Starwood destinations in the near future. With the collaboration, Starwood aims to increase sales of unused small meeting rooms (those that accommodate fewer than 100 attendees), as well as overnight guestrooms through an online marketplace.
Worktopia’s Universal Meeting Solution (UMS) provides an automated process for planners to search, compare and book space for small meetings online. UMS technology also allows planners to arrange for catering, A/V equipment and guestrooms in a single online session. In addition, UMS provides planners with attendee management capabilities, detailed meeting activity reports and online meeting attendee enrollment tools.
