Mandarin Oriental Boston has opened on Boylston Street, near the Newbury Street shopping area, Boston Common and the newly restored South End.

Mandarin Oriental Boston has opened on Boylston Street, near the Newbury Street shopping area, Boston Common and the newly restored South End.

The property’s 148 guestrooms and 12 suites boast custom furnishings and granite bathrooms with separate soaking tubs and showers, as well as the latest in-room entertainment technology and wireless Internet access.

Situated on the second level and accommodating up to 600, function space totals 10,000 sq. ft. and includes the 4,200-sq.-ft. Oriental Ballroom. Additionally, the ballroom and the three smaller function rooms are equipped with the hotel chain’s signature technology, private pre-function areas and a dedicated kitchen. Signature restaurant Asana serves modern American cuisine augmented with Asian dishes. A 16,000-sq.-ft. spa offers heat and wet facilities and a spa café serves healthy fare and custom-blended teas.
