JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa is offering an opportunity for its customers booking group meetings to improve the environment. For meetings booked between now and Dec. 31, 2009, the resort will contribute funds on behalf of its customers to protect the critically endangered Brazilian Amazonas rainforest.
For qualified green meetings/stays booked during select dates, JW Marriott Las Vegas will make a cash contribution equal to five per cent of the total cost of the group’s guestrooms. Donations will be made in the name of the group as part of Marriott International’s ongoing rainforest protection plan. This programme will be available for meetings of 10 sleeping rooms or more. All meetings must take place between now and Dec. 31, 2011.
