Venerable steak and seafood eatery The Palm has opened a restaurant in New York’s downtown Tribeca neighbourhood, on West Street.
Heading up the kitchen will be executive chef Tony Tammero, who will oversee the restaurant’s signature menu of broiled, USDA Prime-aged beef, jumbo Nova Scotia lobster and premium seafood and desserts such as the seven-layer giant carrot cake and triple-chocolate giant chocolate cake. Complementing the food is an extensive wine list.
Founded nearly 80 years ago, The Palm features a casual decor highlighted by walls adorned with caricatures of the celebrities, politicians and socialites who make up its customer base. Currently, The Palm operates more than 25 restaurants in 24 cities across the U.S., Mexico and Puerto Rico.
