Black Rock Oceanfront Resort has opened in Ucluelet, B.C., on Vancouver Island’s West Coast.
Consisting of a main lodge with 71 guest suites and 62 beach suites, the resort offers views of the ocean or surrounding forest from each of the studio, one- and two-bedroom suites. Rounding out the décor are spa-inspired bathrooms and state-of-the-art kitchens. In addition, three hot pools overlook the ocean.
Fetch restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, while Float Lounge mixes up house-inspired cocktails. Drift Spa, scheduled to open in spring, will feature organic seaweed products made on Vancouver Island.
On the meetings side, Black Rock can accommodate groups of 100-plus and features 2,000-sq.-ft. Rainforest Ballroom, divisible into two rooms, and The Wine Cellar, hosting intimate receptions and events.
