Andre’s Restaurant & Lounge at Monte Carlo, in Las Vegas, has reopened following a $2-million renovation, with a new look, new offerings and a new chef de cuisine, Andre Rochat.
Accented with gold and blue mosaic tiles, silk-wrapped lighting, metal barstools with blue cowhide and four large, glass-bottle sculptures, the wine bar serves a menu of small plates, artisanal cheeses and charcuterie. In the main dining room, the decor features turquoise blue set against pearly white and grey walls, and is further complemented by contemporary artwork, antiqued mirrors and silver, chandelier-inspired sconces.
Specializing in traditional French cuisine, Andre’s features a wine list with more than 1,500 vintages. Upstairs, there are three private dining rooms and the Cigar Lounge, where cognacs and cigars can be professionally paired.
