ACTE Names Gillian McCormack as Canada Regional Chair
The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) has named Gillian McCormack (formerly Cody) the new regional chair for the Canadian region. McCormack, as regional chair, will lead the Canada Council, comprised of member volunteers and focused on delivering programmes and services for ACTE members across Canada.
McCormack has worked extensively in the Canadian travel industry for more than 15 years. Beginning her career in the hotel industry, she moved into travel-management six years ago and now manages business development for American Express in Western Canada.
Part of McCormack’s focus as Canada regional chair will be to increase participation in ACTE educational and professional development initiatives in the Canadian corporate travel industry as well as globally, while bringing to the forefront issues of interest to buyers and suppliers.
