Work continues on a $14-million renovation of the InterContinental Montreal that will upgrade guestrooms and install a new bar, club lounge and restaurant.
Rooms will feature king-size beds, designer chairs, dressers and larger desks, along with top-quality linens, new carpet, drapes, modernized lighting and upgraded artwork. Additional in-room amenities will include 40-inch LCD wide-screen televisions with additional speakers in the bathroom. Remodelled, four-fixture marble bathrooms will offer a three-way shower massage.
As for dining and leisure, the new Club Lounge will be located near the remodelled reception area, a trendy wired bar themed on Absinthe liqueur and a restaurant inspired by Provence. The restaurant’s wine cellar will hold up to 1,200 bottles, while the bar will serve a tapas-inspired menu.
The renovation is scheduled for a spring completion.
