Boutique Hotels & Resorts of British Columbia plans to open 60-suite L’Hermitage Hotel in May, in downtown Vancouver.
Situated at Richards and Robson Street, the boutique hotel will feature designer furniture, plasma televisions, four-piece baths and petite kitchenettes. Also on-site will be a fully-equipped health club and club lounge, along with an intimate Library Lounge, where complimentary continental breakfast will be served. A full-time concierge will assist with guest requests, from theatre tickets and shopping suggestions, dinner reservations and nightspot recommendations.
A collaboration between renowned Canadian architecture firms Lawrence Doyle Architects and Gomberoff Bell Lyon Group, L’Hermitage’s look is reminiscent of Chicago modernism – grand architecture with a dramatic street edge, anchored by a podium of cast stone, brick and concrete.
