Boutique Hotels & Resorts of British Columbia plans to open Nelsen Lodge this fall, in Revelstoke, B.C. The first phase of Revelstoke Mountain Resort, the 221-suite Nelsen Lodge will open the first of its three buildings, featuring 59 suites, with the remaining suites slated to open during the ensuing 12 months.
Architecturally, Nelsen Lodge will feature a contemporary mountain alpine look, with every suite providing views of the Monashee Mountains. Amenities include a restaurant and lounge, gourmet bakery and deli, media room, workout facilities and hot tubs and pool.
Revelstoke Mountain Resort offers first-rate lift, snowcat and helicopter skiing and snowboarding from one base. When a $6-million extension to the village gondola is completed this fall, the resort will boast North America’s longest vertical descent, with 6,000 ft. of lift-serviced ski terrain.
