The Village at Squaw Valley USA, in Lake Tahoe, Ca., has opened the Mountain Stream Room, adding 1,900 sq. ft. to its 5,500 sq. ft. of meeting space.
Divisible into three rooms via air walls, the Mountain Stream space is wired for audio-visual presentations and teleconferencing and includes high-speed Internet. It features a patio above the Village stream, for outdoor seating and cocktail receptions, that holds up to 130, banquet-style.
The Spring Conference Special allows groups to book at least 50 rooms for two nights or 100 rooms for one night in either April or May, 2008, at a reduced rate.
One-, two- and three-bedroom luxury accommodations include gas fireplaces, heated floors, patios, kitchens and daily housekeeping service.
