Asia Pacific luxury hotel group Shangri-La is offering Signature Performance healthy menus designed to improve meeting attendees’ attentiveness, concentration and energy. To date, 20 of Shangri-La’s 55 hotels and resorts have incorporated the nutritious dishes into meeting menus, with the remaining properties scheduled to introduce the healthy choices in summer.
Among the 60-plus Signature Performance dishes offered are vegetarian choices, jetlag-recovery cuisine and energy-boosting ingredients. Currently, Western options are available, but by the end of 2008, Signature Performance choices will also include Chinese dishes.
Shangri-La’s healthy menu includes black-pepper pumpkin ravioli with roasted asparagus and tomato sauce; pan-seared tuna with green lentils, couscous and orange-lemongrass reduction; and tropical mango and strawberry salad with yogurt sherbet.
