Historic Windermere House has reopened on the shores of Lake Rosseau, in Muskoka, Ont., following a top-to-bottom, multi-million-dollar refurbishment to the Victorian-style resort.
Among the amenities are conference, meeting rooms and breakout areas ranging from 396 sq. ft. to 2,860 sq. ft. and accommodating groups of up to 200; dining choices ranging from informal to upscale-casual to Japanese, in Wabora Sushi Cafe, the area’s first sushi eatery; complimentary wireless access; and access to an adjacent championship 18-hole golf course, as well as tennis courts, fitness centre, an outdoor heated mineral pool and a beach.
Local marinas can organize boat tours and rentals and can arrange watersports such as waterskiing or wakeboarding.
Windermere House holds a Four Star rating from national rating agency Canada Select.
