Sales and marketing-services company Maritz has acquired Cascade Promotion Corp., a relationship marketing and rewards fulfillment house based in Redwood City, Ca. With the acquisition of Cascade, St. Louis, Mo.-based Maritz will solidify its position as the industry leader in the incentive and loyalty rewards markets.
Furthermore, the purchase will build Maritz’s presence in growing markets, particularly in the gaming and technology industries. Cascade has been focused on the gaming industry, serving clients such as Harrah’s and Seminole Gaming. With the addition of the new company, Maritz will have warehouses on the West Coast (Las Vegas), East Coast (Boston) and in the Midwest (St. Louis). Moreover, Maritz will continue to offer a broad selection of brands, combined with Cascade’s ability to leverage cost savings through greater volume.
