Kathryn MacDonald.

Kathryn MacDonald has been named general manager for the 413-room Westin Edmonton.

MacDonald brings more than 14 years of hospitality and operations expertise to the position and makes the move to Edmonton from the Westin Ottawa, where she was director of operations.

Prior to joining Starwood, MacDonald worked with Fairmont in Vancouver, Victoria and Whistler, B.C.
