Convention attendance in Las Vegas, in April, was off 23 per cent, down to 414,764 meeting attendees this year, compared with 538,316 in the same period last year, according to the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority Executive Summary.
The number of conventions also dipped to 1,843 this April, compared with 2,623 in the same period last year, a 29.7-per-cent decrease for the city, traditionally one of the top U.S. meeting places for groups and conventions of all types.
