A renovated guestroom at the Westin Calgary.
The Westin Calgary has completed a four-year, $35-million renovation that enhanced its lobby, refreshed all meeting spaces and added two new meeting rooms and two new restaurants, and renovated guestrooms.
All 525 guestrooms were renovated – which included the addition of 126 Westin business rooms – and now feature wall-mounted, 32-inch plasma TVs.
The conference level has seen the addition of two meeting rooms, housing an additional 5,000 sq. ft., and received new carpet, light fixtures, wall coverings, upgraded banquet tables and chairs and a up-to-date sound system.
Post-renovation, the hotel now offers 25 meeting rooms providing more than 26,000 sq. ft. of flexible convention and meeting space.
Also new are Essence restaurant and Liquid Lounge and a 256-seat Keg Steakhouse & Bar featuring an outdoor patio seating about 80.
