David Ogilvie has been appointed vice-president of sales and marketing for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Canada.
Ogilvie brings more than 30 years of hotelier expertise to the position. Since 2003, he worked as general manager of the Westin Harbour Castle, in Toronto.
Prior to that, Ogilvie’s other roles with Starwood included four years as vice-president, global corporate travel, based in the New York City global sales office, and a stint as regional director of sales and marketing.
From 2007 to 2009, Ogilvie served as the chair of Tourism Toronto’s marketing committee and recently, was named chair of Tourism Toronto’s board of directors.
