Finalists were selected from venues across the globe that provided hands-on solutions to key industry issues in the fields of information technology and customer-relations management.

Direct Energy Centre’s objective was to lower electrical consumption associated with operating exhibition facilities, thereby reducing the environmental footprint.
An unprecedented tie for first place occurred, with Direct Energy Centre sharing top honours with Fira Barcelona.
Direct Energy Centre’s over 1-million sq. ft. is the largest exhibition and convention centre in Canada and the sixth largest in North America. The venue is a favorite of Canadian meeting planners.
