Dubai Marriott Wins Big in First Year of Operation

The JW Marriott Marquis Dubai won 15 international industry and media awards in its first year of operation.

The winning streak began for the new hotel in Dubai with the Guinness Book of World Records Award for World’s Tallest Hotel, which it received at this time last year. Since then, it has received the following 14 awards:

  9. International Hotel Awards Best Convention Hotel 5* Award

2014 plans for the hotel include the introduction of the second tower, adding another 804 Dubai hotel suites and rooms to a total portfolio of 1,608, along with two additional food and beverage outlets.
