Fairmont Hotels has upgraded meeting space at a number of its Canadian properties.
The Fairmont Empress, in Victoria, debuts its second ballroom, with the 2012 opening of a 4,500-sq.-ft. venue in the former Kipling’s Restaurant space, with capacity for up to 250.
In Vancouver, Fairmont Pacific Rim has expanded the Star Sapphire Ballroom and Foyer and now provides 12,322 sq. ft. of flexible space.
In 2011, the Fairmont Waterfront in Vancouver completed an extensive dollar renovation to the main ballroom, public areas and function space that saw key meeting rooms completely upgraded.
Fairmont Tremblant, in Mont Tremblant, Que., has refreshed its 22,000 sq. ft. of convention space as well as the lobby lounge.
In Charlevoix, Quebec Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu completed a $3.2-million renovation that touched multiple areas of the resort, including guestrooms and hospitality suites for small groups.
