City lovers visiting Chicago are now able to experience a 90-minute immersion in the city’s renowned architecture aboard Chicago’s First Lady Cruise.
First Lady Cruises is the official fleet for the Chicago Architecture Foundation (CAF).
Each season, more than 100 CAF-certified volunteer docents guide 1,600 CAF river cruises, held aboard vessels styled after Sequoia, President Franklin Roosevelt’s 1920s luxury cruising yacht.
Cruises provide views of over 53 historic and architecturally significant sites, include the Sears Tower, Wrigley Building, Civic Opera House and Tribune Tower.
The tour also visits recent architectural additions, including Trump Tower, the second-tallest skyscraper in the U.S., and Aqua, a contemporary condo building with a fluid contour along the lakeshore.
Tickets are on sale and cruises begin May 2.
