The Park Hyatt New York is slated to open in 2012.
Hyatt Hotels has announced plans to expand the luxury Park Hyatt brand to New York, via Manhattan, with a newly constructed 210-room hotel.
Designed by world-renowned, Pritzker Prize-winning architect Christian de Portzamparc, the Park Hyatt New York will become the U.S. flagship of the Hyatt luxury brand, when it opens in 2012.
To be located at 157 West 57th Street, across from Carnegie Hall, the new hotel will be part of a 90-storey mixed-use tower that will also feature 135 Thomas Juul-Hansen-designed luxury condominiums.
The Park Hyatt New York will feature a state-of-the-art meeting facility with a grand ballroom and event space.
Hotel amenities include a luxury spa, fitness centre and indoor swimming pool in a three-storey aerie at the top of the hotel.
