Robert Cima has been appointed regional vice-president and general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver.

Cima has spent 28 years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and led the teams at 13 of the company’s award-winning properties.

Most recently, Cima oversaw Four Seasons in Los Angeles, Palo Alto, Jackson Hotel, San Diego and the opening of Bora Bora.

Born in Ithica, N.Y., Cima is a graduate of Cornell University and joined Four Seasons Ritz Carlton in Chicago in 1983.

“Over the past few years Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver has undergone such an incredible transformation with the addition of YEW restaurant + bar and the lobby and bedroom renovations. It’s fantastic to arrive into a hotel that has so much presence,” says Cima. “I look forward to keeping us edgy and making our experience to the guests memorable.”
