Fox Harb’r Partners with Maritime Air

WALLACE, N.S. — Fox Harb’r Golf Resort & Spa has announced a partnership with Maritime Air Charter Limited and two new getaway packages to the Nova Scotia resort, it was announced July 15.

Options include the Fly, Stay and Play or the Touch Down to Take Off Same Day Golf Experiences. Both packages are available to a minimum of eight guests and include chartered flights from Halifax International (Stanfield) Airport direct to Fox Harb’r Resort.

“For both packages, groups will get unlimited play on our Graham Cooke-designed championship and par 3 seaside courses,” said Kevin Toth, Fox Harb’r president. “They’ll also have access to our practice facilities and everything that would be expected in a luxury day of golf: a cart, daily golf bag storage with club cleaning, lockers and shoe service.”

Maritime Air flights to and from Fox Harb’r are operated on an eight-seat, twin-engine, turbo-prop BE-20 Beech King Air 200 charter plane.

“Guests will fly directly from the Halifax Stanfield Airport to Fox Harb’r’s private Jetport,” said Darryl Cross, Maritime Air’s operations manager. “The flight time is less than 20 minutes.”

Both packages include a champagne breakfast at Maritime Air reception. The Touch Down to Take Off Same Day experience sees guests returned to Halifax International Airport that evening. Fly, Stay & Play includes one night accommodation in a studio suite at Fox Harb’r Resort.

Opened in 2000, Fox Harb’r offers amenities such as the Cape Cliff dining room and the Willard eatery for casual dining; Dol-άs Spa; an 18-hole championship golf course; par 3 golf course; the Golf Academy at Fox Harb’r; sport shooting facility; private jetport and deep-sea marina.

Operating out of Goffs, N.S. at Halifax Stanfield International Airport, Maritime Air Charter Limited provides charter flights within Canada, the U.S., Greenland and St. Pierre and Miquelon, France. Besides the Beech King Air 200, the company offers charters on a Piper Navajo aircraft.
