Hilton's new double-queen bed configuration.
Phase II of the Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel’s extensive $15-million renovation is scheduled for completion in August and includes an innovative double-queen room concept, with back-to-back beds.
The double-queen configuration separates the room, for optimal privacy.
Completed in late 2008, the $8-million South Tower refurbishment encompassed the guestrooms, lobby, restaurant/bar and guest registration areas.
Phase II, which includes the North Tower, cost approximately $7-million and includes the remaining 104 guestrooms and expansion of the fitness centre and business meeting facilities.
New amenities include flat-screen TVs in every room; wireless Internet in public areas and Internet access in guestrooms; and upscale Bliss restaurant, serving global cuisine.
In addition, there’s a renovated lobby lounge, equipped with eco-fuel fireplace and offering coffee service from 5 a.m. until 9 a.m., and self-check-in lobby kiosks geared toward meeting and incentive travel groups.
